VP People
About us
At Xelix, we work with some of the world’s largest companies to automate and strengthen their financial controls. Our AI solutions redefine how Accounts Payable teams operate - moving from manual processes to automated, intelligent workflows.
We’re a UK-born scaleup of almost 150 brilliant people - and we’re on an ambitious journey to double in size over the next few years. With teams already thriving in both the UK and the US, and more geographies on the horizon, we’re building something big: a high-performance company where culture, growth, and impact go hand in hand. We raised our Series B with Insight Partners in June 2025 and are expanding aggressively, whilst remaining profitable.
And now, we’re looking for our first VP People to help us shape the future.
About the role
This isn’t about “HR as usual.” It’s about designing what a world-class people experience looks like at scale. You’ll be the architect of our organisational growth — building the frameworks, developing the leaders, and driving the culture that takes us from 150 to 300+ people, across continents.
You’ll be a close partner to our CEO and leadership team, coaching and enabling them to thrive while making sure every person in the company feels connected, supported, and set up to do the best work of their careers.
What you'll be doing
- Design how we scale – Build the structures, systems, and frameworks that make growth feel effortless as we double in size.
- Lead across geographies – Own people strategy and operations across the UK and US (our two biggest hubs), ensuring we scale consistently while respecting local needs.
- Grow our leaders – Coach and develop the leadership team, while rolling out programmes that grow capability at every level.
- Champion culture & belonging – Keep our culture strong and consistent as we expand internationally, making sure our values are lived everywhere, every day.
- Build world-class people operations – From compliance and policies to tools and systems, you’ll ensure our people experience is scalable, seamless, and global.
What you’ll bring
You’re not just a people leader — you’re a builder, coach, and culture-shaper. Here’s what we think you’ll bring:
- Experience leading people strategy in a high-growth, international SaaS Enterprise scaleup.
- Expertise in org design, leadership development, and global people operations.
- Strong knowledge of both UK and US employment practices.
- A strategic mindset paired with a hands-on approach.
- A passion for creating environments where people and culture thrive together.
This is a chance to shape a company at a pivotal moment. You’ll be building the foundations for scale, defining what our culture feels like across borders, and helping hundreds of people do the best work of their careers.
If you’re excited by growth, inspired by building, and motivated by impact — we’d love to meet you.
